For those of you selling skin, hair and beauty products, have you ever considered bundling up some of your products into “kits”?
Data shows that doing so is beneficial to both the business and the customers:
1. The business increases its average order value
2. The customers can try several different products at once
3. Kits remove the guesswork for customers, so they don’t have to think about which products are complimentary to the product that they initially came to purchase.
4. Kits improve the customer experience because often times customers see better results when they use all the products in a system instead of just 1 product.
If you don’t know where to start with bundling your hair/skin categories, these are some recommendations:
-dry skin kit
-hyperpigmentation kit
-problem skin kit
-oily skin kit
-4c hair kit
-foot care kit
-lip care kit
-birthday kits
This list could go on and on, but hopefully you get the idea lol.
I decided to write this blog because last weekend I was ordering from a black-owned skin care company, and she had so many products that all looked amazing that I became overwhelmed trying to choose which ones to buy.
I made a recommendation to her to assemble some kits so that ppl like me (who don’t have the patience to sort through tons of products—especially when the pictures aren’t that great ) can simply order a bunch of products at once and be done with it!
Moral of the story: people want to support your business and buy from you instead of the bigger companies, SO MAKE IT AS EASY AS POSSIBLE FOR THEM TO DO JUST THAT!
